KUALA LUMPUR: Sophia Albarakbah has announced that she will be selling fresh pandan coconut water at the Ramadan bazaar at Stadium Merdeka this year.
The 32-year-old actress revealed that she and her siblings will be running the stall starting from the third day of Ramadan, bringing a healthier alternative to the usual sugary drinks commonly found at bazaars.
Sophia explained that the idea came from her personal love for fresh coconut water, which she considers more nutritious than the pre-mixed versions often sold with ice and sugar.
“What’s special this Ramadan is that my sibling and I will be selling coconut water straight from the fruit at the Merdeka Bazaar Ramadan. It’s a healthier option because many stalls mix it with sugar and ice, and we don’t always know how clean the ice is,” she told mStar.

As a business-minded actress, Sophia said she values customer feedback and wants to provide excellent service. “I’m selling something I truly like and believe is nutritious,” she added.
Regarding her presence at the stall, Sophia mentioned that she will help out if filming commitments allow, though she will be busy with acting projects throughout Ramadan.
