Civil Service Dialogue Strengthens Two-Way Communication

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – A dialogue session between senior government leadership and civil servants from Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur was held at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), Bukit Kiara, to strengthen communication and improve public service delivery.

Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah attended the session, which brought together civil servants from the Implementing Group for an informal engagement with Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.

The programme provided participants with an opportunity to share views, suggestions and constructive feedback on improving the effectiveness of the public service delivery system.

The session also served as a strategic initiative to strengthen two-way communication between the top leadership of the civil service and government personnel, particularly those serving outside ministries.

Also present were Deputy Director-General of Public Service (Development) Datuk Dr. Mohd Bakhari Ismail, Deputy Director-General of Public Service (Operations) Dato’ Mohd Shaiful Ibrahim and senior civil service officials.
