KDN Steps Up Action Against TriumphFX, Engages MPs

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Home Ministry (KDN) is strengthening enforcement against the TriumphFX foreign investment scam syndicate while expanding engagement with Members of Parliament on security and public order matters.

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar bin Nasarah addressed the issue during the Special Chamber proceedings of the Third Meeting, Fifth Session of the 15th Parliament on 5 October.

He was responding to a question from Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tiong on stronger action against the TriumphFX syndicate.

KDN said the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is continuing enforcement efforts across the syndicate’s network, including tracing financial flows and identifying parties involved in accordance with existing laws.

Separately, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail chaired a Hi-Tea session with the ministry’s Friends of Ministry (FOM) and Members of Parliament at Parliament Malaysia.

The engagement served as a platform to strengthen communication between KDN and lawmakers on matters including security, immigration, public order and national sovereignty.

Also present were Immigration Director-General Dato’ Zakaria bin Shaaban; KDN Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Control) Datuk Haji Makhzan bin Mahyuddin; Deputy Secretary-General (Security) Dato’ Hj Abdul Halim bin Hj Abdul Rahman; and Deputy Secretary-General (Management) Ainah binti Mohd Soon, along with senior ministry officials.
