KUALA LUMPUR, 5 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – Deputy Higher Education Minister Adam Adli Abd Halim visited the Malaysian Scholarly Publishing Council (MAPIM) Pavilion at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (PBAKL) 2026, underscoring the Ministry of Higher Education’s (MOHE) commitment to strengthening the nation’s knowledge and publishing ecosystem.

Held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), the visit highlighted ongoing efforts to promote reading culture, knowledge dissemination and the production of high-quality scholarly publications.

During the visit, Adam Adli toured various academic publications, research materials and scholarly works showcased by public universities and local publishing organisations participating in the event.

The ministry said the active involvement of public higher education institutions at PBAKL 2026 demonstrates the important role universities play not only in teaching and research but also in making knowledge more accessible to the wider community.

PBAKL 2026 continues to serve as a strategic platform for expanding access to knowledge, encouraging the exchange of expertise and strengthening collaboration between educational institutions, publishers and readers.
