KANGAR, 28 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The 5 Nation Stamp Exhibition Perlis, Malaysia 2026 brought together more than 60 international delegates and hundreds of philatelic exhibits, highlighting regional cooperation through the preservation of history, culture and heritage.
Communications Minister Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil and Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah attended “The Palmares Night of the 5 Nation Stamp Exhibition Perlis, Malaysia 2026” at Dewan 2020, Kangar, on 26 September.
The event was also graced by Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and members of the Perlis royal family.
Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin also delivered the officiating address during the event.
The exhibition, held from 25 to 27 September, was organised by Perbadanan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Perlis, Perlis Tourism and Persatuan Filateli Malaysia in collaboration with Pos Malaysia.

It brought together more than 60 international delegates from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam, with Bangladesh participating as an invited country.
More than 325 frames of stamp collections were displayed, while 98 collections competed across 29 competition classes covering various fields of philately.
The exhibition served as a platform to strengthen regional ties while introducing visitors to the historical, cultural and heritage collections represented through philately.
