KDN Attends 15th Parliament Security Committee Meeting

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) participated in the Security Select Committee Meeting of the Fifteenth Parliament, Number 7 for the year 2026, held at the Malaysian Parliament.

According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the meeting was attended by Secretary of the Prisons, Anti-Drug and RELA Division (PDR), Nor Shah Mohamed, representing the ministry.

The session was chaired by Parliamentary Select Committee (JKP) Security member and Ketereh MP Dato’ Khlir Mohd Nor.

Also present were Prisons Commissioner-General Dato’ Sri Abdul Aziz Abdul Razak, representatives from the Legal Advisory Office (PUU), Public Security and Order Division (K), Parole Board Management Division (ULP), Strategic Planning Division (PG), the Prisons Department and the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC).

The meeting focused on matters related to national security oversight and coordination between enforcement agencies and parliamentary stakeholders.

The participation of multiple enforcement and legal bodies reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and improve national security governance through parliamentary engagement. – The Capital Post
