PUTRAJAYA, 24 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) marked the 69th National Month celebrations with a Merdeka-themed quiz aimed at fostering patriotism, appreciation of history and nationhood, and integrity among its staff.
Organised by the KDN Integrity Unit, the Kuiz Semarak Merdeka KDN was held as a creative initiative to strengthen patriotic values while promoting a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s history and national identity.
A total of 222 entries were received, with 20 winners recognised during the prize-giving ceremony held as the programme’s culmination.
KDN Integrity Unit Head YBrs. Encik Zulkefle bin Abd. Hamid presented the prizes to the winners in appreciation of their participation and achievements in the quiz.

The programme was held in conjunction with the 2026 National Month celebrations under the theme “Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati”.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the initiative sought to combine the spirit of Merdeka with efforts to strengthen integrity among KDN personnel. – The Capital Post
