KDN Contingent Joins National Maulidur Rasul Celebration at UPM

SERDANG, 26 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – A total of 40 officers and personnel from the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) took part in the National Maulidur Rasul SAW 1448H/2026M celebration at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), marking their solidarity and devotion to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

The celebration was attended by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim and his wife, YB Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Dr. Wan Ismail.

The KDN contingent was led by the ministry’s Secretary-General, YBhg. Datuk Dr. Awang Alik bin Jeman, and was also attended by KDN Deputy Secretary-General (Security), YBhg. Dato’ Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Abdul Rahman.

KDN’s participation reflected the ministry’s continued commitment to upholding the values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW, particularly trust, integrity, compassion and unity, in strengthening public service delivery while safeguarding national security and public well-being.

The celebration also served as an opportunity for KDN personnel to renew their commitment to serving with dedication and professionalism while upholding noble values for the benefit of religion, nation and society.
