SADONG JAYA, 2 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Malaysian Registrar of Societies (JPPM) today launched the 2026 Kampung Angkat MADANI (KAM) and Sekolah Angkat MADANI (SAM) programmes in Kampung Pendam, aimed at enhancing community well-being and improving the learning environment through targeted development initiatives.
The launch ceremony was officiated by Sarawak Federal Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Nadzri Mohd Hassan and attended by Registrar of Societies Director-General Dato’ Mohd Zulfikar Ahmad, RELA Commissioner-General Datuk Rosli Yaakub, National Registration and Organisations Division Secretary Mimmi Suriati representing the Deputy Secretary-General (Policy) of the Home Ministry, as well as representatives from federal and state agencies, school officials and the local community.
Under the initiative, Kampung Pendam has been selected as the recipient of the Kampung Angkat MADANI programme, while Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Pendam will benefit from the Sekolah Angkat MADANI programme, with projects valued at up to RM600,000.
The programmes will see improvements to public facilities, community safety and comfort, as well as upgrades to educational and digital infrastructure at the school to create a safer, more conducive and inclusive learning environment.

The event also featured the Jualan RAHMAH MADANI, government agency exhibitions, mobile service counters, health screenings and various community engagement activities aimed at bringing government services closer to the public.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the Kampung Angkat MADANI and Sekolah Angkat MADANI programmes reflect the MADANI Government’s continued commitment to improving the well-being of communities through a Whole of Government approach. – The Capital Post.
