KDN strengthens monitoring of MyPCVE Action Plan implementation

PUTRAJAYA, 12 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) has strengthened monitoring of the implementation of the Malaysia Action Plan for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (MyPCVE) through the first 2026 Monitoring Committee Meeting held in Putrajaya yesterday.

The meeting was chaired by KDN Deputy Secretary-General (Security), YBhg. Dato Hj. Abdul Halim bin Hj. Abdul Rahman.

It was also attended by representatives from various ministries and agencies directly involved in implementing initiatives under the MyPCVE Action Plan.

The main agenda of the meeting was to review, coordinate and monitor the implementation status of initiatives under the MyPCVE Action Plan.

The effort is aimed at ensuring the initiatives are implemented effectively to safeguard national security against threats of radicalism and extremism.
