KDN Upgrades Sekolah Kebangsaan Jambu Lawar Under Sekolah Angkat MADANI 2026

MACHANG, Kelantan, 10 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) has reviewed the progress of the Sekolah Angkat MADANI KDN 2026 project at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jambu Lawar, Kelantan, as part of its ongoing site visit in Machang.

The visit was led by KDN Deputy Secretary-General (Management), YBrs. Puan Ainah binti Mohd Soon, together with KDN Strategic Planning Division Secretary, YBrs. Puan Siti Salmiah binti Haji Dimyati, to assess the progress of upgrading works and ensure the project delivers meaningful benefits to the school community.

The Sekolah Angkat MADANI KDN 2026 project involves an allocation of RM100,000 for various improvement works, including upgrading the digital learning room with air-conditioning and a smartboard, refurbishing the mini library and upgrading the ICT laboratory, including electrical wiring and air-conditioning.

The improvement works also include repairs to the school’s water pump engine, replacement of the school signboard and main gate, as well as repairs and reconstruction of sections of the collapsed perimeter wall.

The Sekolah Angkat MADANI initiative reflects KDN’s commitment to supporting education development and providing a more conducive, comfortable and quality learning environment for the benefit of 369 pupils and 39 school staff.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the initiative is part of the ministry’s efforts to strengthen support for local schools through targeted infrastructure improvements. – The Capital Post
