BANGKOK, Thailand, 27 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Human Resources Minister Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan and the Malaysian delegation attended a Gala Dinner held in conjunction with the 29th ASEAN Labour Ministers Meeting (ALMM) and related meetings hosted by the Thai Government through the Ministry of Labour Thailand.
The event was held in a cordial atmosphere and featured Thai cultural performances and traditional cuisine from the host country. Guests were also shown a video highlighting the activities throughout the 29th ALMM and related meetings.
The dinner provided an opportunity for ASEAN labour ministers and delegates from member states to engage informally, strengthen ties and exchange views in a relaxed setting, further enhancing mutual understanding and regional cooperation.
The participation of the Malaysian delegation also reflected the Ministry of Human Resources’ (KESUMA) commitment to strengthening relations with ASEAN member states and enhancing cooperation in addressing challenges related to employment and regional workforce development.
