SEPANG, 15 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Works Ministry (KKR) is monitoring traffic flow and road-user comfort following the opening of the KIWA Interchange (FT29/FT32) to the public on Saturday (12 September).
KKR Secretary-General YBhg. Dato’ Seri Azman bin Ibrahim and Public Works Department (JKR) Director-General YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ibrahim bin Esa inspected the interchange and the project site in Sepang on Monday (14 September).
The visit focused on assessing conditions and the impact of the interchange’s opening, particularly in terms of traffic flow and the comfort of road users.
The officials also inspected the project to review the current progress of works and identify issues requiring further action and resolution.

The interchange forms part of the project to construct and complete the road from the KIWA FT29/FT32 intersection to Federal Route FT27 in the Sepang district.
KKR said it remains committed to ensuring road infrastructure development is implemented safely, meets quality standards and delivers benefits to the public.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Works Malaysia, the ministry will continue monitoring the impact of the KIWA Interchange opening and the progress of works at the project site. – The Capital Posta
