KKR Promotes Healthier Workforce Through September Monthly Assembly

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Works (KKR) began September with an emphasis on physical and mental well-being through its September 2026 Monthly Assembly held at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid.

The event was attended by Deputy Works Minister YBhg. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Maslan, accompanied by Deputy Secretary-General (Management) KKR YBhg. Datuk Zainal Alhakab Seman, Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Development) YBhg. Datuk Dr. Khairus Masnan Abd Khalid and heads of agencies.

Themed “Warga Cergas, KKR Tangkas”, the assembly was jointly organised by the KKR Facilities Management Division and the KKR Management Services Division.

The theme highlighted the importance of physical and mental health as the foundation for a more productive and resilient workforce.

A symbolic handover of the Malaysia Sihat Agenda (ANMS) Kit was also held in conjunction with the launch of the 2026 Bulan Malaysia Sihat Sejahtera, which was officiated by Ahmad Maslan.

The ministry also presented appreciation to 25 MyINFRA Trainers for their commitment and contributions towards strengthening the competency development of KKR personnel.

Mental health was also given attention through a talk titled “Cakna Kesihatan Mental: Jaga Minda, Jaga Diri”, delivered by the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Health Department.

The assembly concluded with a Chairobic (X-Break) session, encouraging KKR personnel to stay active and incorporate healthy living practices into their workplace culture.
