SEREMBAN, 7 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) of Bukit Aman has crippled a drug-processing syndicate following raids carried out in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Kuala Lumpur on 6 September.
JSJN Director YDH Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan said police seized various forms of drugs suspected to be MDMA with an estimated total value of RM27.5 million.
Police also seized three vehicles worth approximately RM98,000, bringing the total value of the drugs and items seized to about RM27.6 million.
In the first raid in Seremban, a male suspect allegedly acted aggressively and fired shots at the raiding team.
The police team returned fire in self-defence, and the suspect was subsequently confirmed dead at the scene.
Two other local suspects, a man and a woman aged between 32 and 35, were arrested and remanded for seven days to assist investigations.

The case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code and Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
The total seizure is estimated to be capable of eliminating drugs reaching up to 404,000 drug users.
Hussein said JSJN would continue to take an aggressive, focused and high-impact approach in combating the threat of drugs to protect present and future generations.
Also present were Narcotics Deputy Director (Intelligence/Operations) YDH DCP Datuk Mat Zani @ Mohd Salahuddin bin Che Ali; Negeri Sembilan Police Chief YDH DCP Dato’ Alzafny bin Ahmad; Negeri Sembilan Deputy Police Chief YDH SAC Mohd Nasharudin bin Mohd Shariff; Narcotics Assistant Director (Intelligence/Operations) YDH SAC Datuk Dr Jasmirol bin Jamaluddin; Narcotics Assistant Director (Intelligence Zone I) YDH ACP Gabriel Risut; and senior officers from JSJN Bukit Aman and the Negeri Sembilan Contingent.
