Malaysia Expands Trade Opportunities at THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2026

BANGKOK, 28 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Malaysia participated in the official opening ceremony of THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2026 held at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, officiated by Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Chanvirakul.

Recognised as one of the largest food and beverage trade exhibitions in Asia, THAIFEX-Anuga Asia gathers industry players, entrepreneurs and investors from around the world.

According to the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP), Malaysia’s participation in the international platform provides greater opportunities for business networking, export market expansion and strategic cooperation, particularly for the country’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The Malaysian delegation also took the opportunity to engage with Thailand’s top leadership during the event, reflecting the close ties and continued commitment between both nations in strengthening economic cooperation, trade and regional development.

In addition, the delegation conducted visits to exhibition booths and held engagements with industry players to explore potential collaborations and new opportunities aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Malaysian entrepreneurs at the global level.

KUSKOP expressed hope that Malaysia’s participation in THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2026 would continue to serve as a catalyst for economic growth while expanding access for local products into international markets.
