PUTRAJAYA, 10 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – More than 13,000 participants and visitors turned up for the MAPPA XXI Run 2026 at Dataran Putrajaya, reflecting continued efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle and enhance the well-being of public servants and the wider community.
The event was officiated by Chief Secretary to the Government YBhg. Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar, together with senior public service leadership, as well as Ministry of Economy Deputy Secretary-General (Sectoral) YBrs. Tuan Nasaruddin bin Abdul Muttalib and officers from the Ministry of Economy.
Four running categories were offered, comprising the 3km Fun Walk, 5km Fun Run, 10km Competitive Run and 21km Half Marathon.
The event also featured various activities, including an aerobics session, a Mini Tournament Pickleball, free health screenings under the National Healthy Malaysia Agenda (ANMS), Rahmah MADANI sales, as well as exhibition and service booths by various government agencies and private organisations.

Beyond promoting healthy living, the event also served as a platform to strengthen camaraderie, foster a sense of togetherness and enhance cooperation between public servants and the community.
