MELAKA, 10 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), YBhg. Dato’ Sri Haji Mad Zaidi bin Mohd Karli, today conducted a working visit to the Sungai Putat Flood Mitigation Project (RTB) site to review the project’s latest progress.
During the visit, he was briefed by Melaka Drainage and Irrigation Department (JPS) State Director, YBrs. Ir. Mohd Adnan bin Ahmad Fauzi, on the project’s progress, ongoing works and other related matters to ensure implementation remains on schedule.
The visit also focused on monitoring the implementation of the flood mitigation project and ensuring that the planned scope of works progresses smoothly.

Also accompanying the visit was JPS Malaysia Director-General, YBhg. Datuk Ir. Mohamad Radzi bin Abdul Talib, together with officers from JPS Malaysia and JPS Melaka.
