PUTRAJAYA, 25 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Dato’ Ts. Dr. Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, officiated the ministry’s Monthly Assembly for May 2026 themed “Pekerja MADANI Kesuma Bangsa”.
The theme reflects the national aspiration of cultivating professionalism, integrity and teamwork among ministry personnel.
In his address, Nagulendran stressed the importance of being responsible, professional and ethical civil servants in strengthening excellence within the public service sector.
He also extended festive greetings to MOSTI personnel celebrating Hari Raya Haji, Kaamatan, Gawai and Wesak Day.
The assembly also witnessed the launch of the MOSTI Digitalisation Strategic Plan 2026–2030, described as a dynamic blueprint that will shape the ministry’s digital transformation direction over the next five years.

In addition, the event announced the winner of MOSTI’s AI chatbot naming competition, with the chatbot now officially known as “MONA”.
The programme also included certificate presentation ceremonies, announcements on staff transfers and promotions, recognition for Best Employee Awards for the first quarter, as well as birthday celebrations for MOSTI personnel born in May.
