MOSTI Strengthens Integrity Awareness Through MACC Visit

SHAH ALAM, Selangor, 10 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) conducted a working visit to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Selangor today as part of efforts to strengthen understanding and awareness of anti-corruption initiatives, integrity and good governance in the public sector.

The visit was a continuation of the “Psychoethics: Minda Sejahtera, Integriti Terpelihara” programme, jointly organised by the Psychology Management Unit, Human Resource Management Division and Integrity Unit of MOSTI for MOSTI personnel and departments under the ministry.

Participants were given practical exposure to MACC’s investigation processes, including visits to the lock-up, Video Interviewing Room and identification parade room.

The MACC Selangor office also delivered a briefing on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, including cases involving public servants. The session provided participants with a clearer understanding of corruption risks and offences that may occur across various sectors.

The programme also included a question-and-answer session to address issues and common concerns surrounding corruption.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI), the working visit is expected to strengthen integrity awareness among MOSTI personnel and contribute towards a more transparent, ethical and trusted public service. – The Capital Post
