GENTING HIGHLANDS, 26 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) has engaged Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) industry stakeholders to identify challenges and gather feedback aimed at strengthening the programme’s attractiveness, credibility and international competitiveness.
Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Chiew Choon Man officiated the stakeholder engagement session held in conjunction with the 14th MM2H National Workshop at Resorts World Awana, Genting Highlands, on Friday.
The session brought together MOTAC officials and MM2H industry players to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and share proposals for improving the programme.
MOTAC said feedback gathered from industry stakeholders would contribute towards efforts to improve MM2H and strengthen long-term confidence in Malaysia as a destination for participants seeking to make the country their home.

The ministry also highlighted the programme’s contribution to Malaysia’s economy and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining close engagement with industry stakeholders.
Representatives from the MM2H One Stop Centre, Tourism Malaysia, the Immigration Department of Malaysia and MM2HCA also attended the session.
