KUALA LUMPUR, 13 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of National Unity has highlighted the contributions and sacrifices of the Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) F Team in safeguarding national security, peace and sovereignty.
Deputy National Unity Minister Yuneswaran Ramaraj officiated the historical storytelling programme, titled “Pasukan Sejarah F: Wira Dalam Senyap, Benteng Keselamatan Negara”, at Dewan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Hashim, Police Training Centre (PULAPOL), on Monday (12 October).
The programme was organised by the Ministry of National Unity through the National Archives of Malaysia (ANM), in collaboration with PDRM.
In his address, Yuneswaran expressed appreciation for the contributions of F Team personnel, describing the initiative as an opportunity to bring Malaysia’s security history closer to the public.
He acknowledged the sacrifices of personnel who worked discreetly to protect the nation’s peace and sovereignty.
Yuneswaran noted that despite its small membership, the F Team carried significant responsibilities in maintaining national security.

Guided by the motto “Hanya Yang Berani” (Only the Brave), its members were expected to demonstrate courage, patience, strict confidentiality and a commitment to placing national interests above personal considerations.
He emphasised that the team’s achievements should not be measured solely by the number of operations conducted or arrests made, but also by the peace and stability enjoyed by Malaysians today.
Yuneswaran also highlighted the connection between national security and unity, stressing that peace provides the foundation for stability, trust and social cohesion.
The programme served as a platform to preserve the history of the F Team while recognising the contributions of security personnel whose work often remained outside public attention.
