The visit provided media representatives with an opportunity to observe first-hand the blending, distribution and implementation processes of the B15 Biodiesel programme, which officially came into effect on June 1, 2026.
KPK said the National Biodiesel Programme is supported by a comprehensive ecosystem comprising 452 palm oil mills, 54 refineries, 19 biodiesel plants and 34 blending depots nationwide before fuel is distributed to more than 4,400 petrol stations across the country.
The KVDT facility, operated by PS Pipeline Sdn. Bhd., serves as one of the country’s key biodiesel blending centres and demonstrates Malaysia’s strong logistics capabilities in supporting the nationwide implementation of higher biodiesel blend requirements.
