KUALA LUMPUR, 12 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), through the Sexual, Women and Child Investigation Division (D11), Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ), Bukit Aman, has collaborated with Dream Film Sdn. Bhd. to produce Is Not A Joke, a film highlighting bullying in Malaysian educational institutions and schools.
The film also aims to deliver a crime prevention message to the public, particularly the younger generation.
The film’s trailer was officially launched by JSJ Director CP Datuk M. Kumar S. Muthuvelu at Dewan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Hashim, Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre, here, yesterday.
Is Not A Joke serves as an advocacy film highlighting the realities and impact of bullying, while delivering a clear message that bullying is not a joke and should not be taken lightly by any party.

The strategic collaboration between PDRM and Dream Film Sdn. Bhd. reflects the police force’s continued efforts to strengthen crime prevention through creative approaches and filmmaking as a medium to deliver awareness messages more effectively to the public.
Also present were Dream Film Sdn. Bhd. Director Encik Choong Lin Loong, JSJ Bukit Aman Deputy Directors, JSJ Bukit Aman Assistant Directors, state JSJ chiefs, members of the film’s main cast and members of the media.
