TUARAN, 17 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Digital’s Sabah Office has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital inclusion through the successful implementation of the Society Digital Outreach Programme (SoDOP) 2026 at the Pusat e-Desa Topokon here.
According to a Facebook post by Pejabat Kementerian Digital Wilayah Sabah, the programme received strong support from local communities, government agencies, strategic partners and participants, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing digital literacy and encouraging the adoption of technology in daily life.
The ministry said the initiative aims to equip communities with essential digital skills and foster a more competitive and technology-ready society.
Deputy Digital Minister Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong officiated the programme, while Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Madius Tangau was recognised for his continued support towards Sabah’s digital development agenda.

The programme featured knowledge-sharing sessions, interactive activities and hands-on experiences designed to strengthen digital awareness and capabilities among participants.
