SEREMBAN, 23 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Terminal 1 Seremban has been awarded a Grade A Terminal Rating by the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), recognising it as Negeri Sembilan’s premier land public transport hub that meets the highest standards in management, operations, safety and passenger facilities.
The Grade A rating was presented by Transport Minister Loke Siew Fook during a ceremony organised by the Ministry of Transport (MOT).
Licensed as an integrated transport terminal since 1 August 2023, Terminal 1 Seremban brings together express buses, stage buses, BAS.MY services, taxis and a direct connection to Seremban KTM Station, providing seamless connectivity for commuters.
The terminal features 46 platforms, comprising 20 departure bays, six arrival bays, and 20 bays dedicated to BAS.MY and stage bus services. It is also equipped with modern facilities, including accessible amenities for persons with disabilities (OKU), cashless ticketing, closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance, and commercial premises.
According to MOT, the terminal handles between 150 and 180 daily bus trips involving 84 bus operators serving destinations across Peninsular Malaysia, with an estimated one million passengers using the facility annually.

The ministry said the achievement reflects the continued commitment of the Government, MOT, APAD, Seremban City Council and the terminal operator to strengthening a modern, safe and integrated public transport system in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
To ensure continued public mobility and improved connectivity to surrounding areas, the Government is also enhancing the BAS.MY network through the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) Programme while providing RM63.175 million annually under the Interim Stage Bus Support Fund (ISBSF), particularly to sustain socially important but less profitable routes.
