KUALA LUMPUR, 18 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Works (KKR) held its first Leadership Talk Series for 2026 to strengthen awareness and understanding of the Public Service Reform Agenda (ARPA) among ministry personnel.
According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Kerja Raya Malaysia, the programme, titled “ARPA dan Peranan Kita”, was delivered by Deputy Secretary-General (Management) Datuk Zainal Alhakab Seman.
The session was attended by 80 ministry officers and focused on enhancing understanding of ARPA’s objectives and implementation across the public service.
During the session, Zainal outlined the core principles of the reform agenda and emphasised the role of every ministry employee, regardless of grade or position, in translating the initiative into their daily responsibilities.

The ministry said the programme is expected to provide greater clarity on the various initiatives under ARPA, particularly at the organisational level, as KKR continues to strengthen a culture of excellence, efficiency and accountability within the public service.
The leadership series forms part of KKR’s ongoing efforts to ensure its workforce remains aligned with the government’s broader public sector transformation agenda. – The Capital Post
