PUTRAJAYA, 15 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Economy Minister Datuk Haji Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir chaired a discussion with the Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) to coordinate follow-up actions arising from the Malaysian delegation’s working visit to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, last month.
The discussion focused on implementing strategic agreements reached during the visit, including long-term cooperation in hydrocarbon resource development, technology transfer, talent development, and the participation of Malaysian Oil and Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) companies in strategic projects in Turkmenistan.
MPRC will continue its engagement with key agencies in Turkmenistan, PETRONAS and other strategic partners to ensure the outcomes of the visit are translated into tangible economic opportunities, investment prospects and industrial collaboration.
