SERDANG, 26 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The National Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1448H/2026M was held at the Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, on 25 August 2026.
Held under the theme “MADANI Dihayati, Ummah Diberkati”, this year’s celebration aligned with the Government’s aspirations to strengthen the Malaysia MADANI agenda and foster a blessed and united ummah.
The Ministry of Transport (MOT) took part in the celebration with a 40-member contingent led by Deputy Secretary-General (Management), YBrs. Dr. Nor Fuad bin Abdul Hamid.

The programme began with a procession involving various government agencies, statutory bodies and private-sector organisations, before continuing with the royal address delivered by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
The celebration also served as an opportunity to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW while encouraging the community to reflect on his life, emulate his noble character and practise his Sunnah in daily life.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Ministry of Transport Malaysia, the celebration provided a platform to strengthen appreciation of the teachings and values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad SAW. – The Capital Post
