PUTRAJAYA, 30 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Home Ministry (KDN) has stepped up preparations for the Asia International Security Summit & Expo 2027 (AISSE ’27), which is scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 January 2027.
KDN Secretary-General Datuk Dr. Awang Alik bin Jeman chaired the second AISSE ’27 Main Committee Meeting for 2026 at the ministry on 29 September.
The meeting focused on coordinating preparations and detailing the roles and responsibilities of KDN divisions and agencies involved in organising the event.
AISSE ’27 will mark the second edition of the international summit and expo, organised through a strategic collaboration between KDN and Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn. Bhd.
The event is expected to bring together experts, industry players and government and private-sector stakeholders from various countries, particularly in the security and enforcement sectors.

Planned activities include conferences, forums, discussion sessions, expert presentations, exhibitions showcasing the latest security technologies, as well as strategic collaboration and business-matching sessions.
KDN said the event would provide opportunities to explore emerging security technologies, encourage innovation in enforcement and strengthen international cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Royal Malaysia Police, National Anti-Drugs Agency, Immigration Department of Malaysia, Prisons Department, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, Border Control and Protection Agency, National Registration Department, Malaysia Volunteers Corps Department, Registry of Societies Malaysia, Eastern Sabah Security Command and Independent Police Conduct Commission.
