In his address, the minister stressed that Malaysia’s diversity of religions, ethnicities, cultures, and languages remains one of the nation’s greatest strengths. However, he cautioned that maintaining harmony has become increasingly challenging due to the misuse of digital platforms, where misinformation, hate speech, religious provocation, and racial incitement can spread rapidly.
He emphasised the importance of strengthening mutual understanding, empathy, and responsible communication to safeguard national unity, urging all segments of society to work together in preserving peace and reinforcing Malaysia’s social fabric. – The Capital Post
