KUALA LUMPUR, 30 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) has reaffirmed the importance of upholding integrity, discipline and transparency across the force, with its personnel urged to strengthen compliance with the department’s six core functions.
JIPS Director CP Dato’ Aida Abdul Hamid delivered the message during her address to JIPS personnel of the Kuala Lumpur Contingent at Anjung Sri Kandi, Kuala Lumpur Police Headquarters.
She stressed that the department’s six core functions should be carried out in an integrated manner, with integrity, discipline, compliance and actions guided by transparency, fairness and the rule of law.
Aida also called on JIPS personnel to strengthen supervision, undertake high-impact assignments, safeguard the welfare of PDRM personnel and foster a culture of compliance with standard operating procedures and existing regulations.

She further reminded officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, avoid conflicts of interest, inducements and misconduct, while setting a positive example in preserving the trust and confidence placed in the police force.
Also present were JIPS Bukit Aman Deputy Director (Integrity) DCP Thaipul Bahri Mokhtar, Senior Assistant Director (SPK) SAC Arifai Tarawe and ACP Wong Ting Lee of the JIPS Secretariat.
