KDN Receives Courtesy Call from Japanese Embassy Representative

PUTRAJAYA, 18 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) received a courtesy visit from Mr Riho Yuki, Representative of the Japanese Embassy in Malaysia, in a meeting with Mohd Azlan Razali, Secretary of KDN’s International Division.

According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the meeting reflects the ongoing commitment of both sides to strengthen strategic cooperation, particularly in the areas of security collaboration and information sharing.

The courtesy call also served as a platform for exchanging views on current security issues while exploring opportunities to enhance more effective cooperation in the future.

KDN said it remains committed to strengthening international partnerships to ensure national security, public welfare and national interests continue to be safeguarded.

Also present in the Malaysian delegation were senior officials from the Strategic and International Planning Division, Security and Public Order Division, and other related departments within the ministry, reflecting broad inter-agency participation in supporting international security cooperation efforts.
