SINGAPORE, 9 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) continued Human Resources Minister YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan’s official working visit to Singapore with the Salam Dari Malaysia @ Singapore programme, bringing together Malaysians living and building their careers in the country.
The programme provided an opportunity for the minister to hear directly about the experiences, views and aspirations of Malaysians in Singapore.
The direct engagement also provided insights into the realities and challenges faced by Malaysians living abroad, while recognising their contributions to the country.
The programme was further enlivened by a cultural performance by six young dancers from ADZEL Studio, Kota Tinggi, Johor, aged between 12 and 14.
Despite having undergone only six months of training, the young performers confidently showcased Malaysia’s rich and diverse cultural heritage to Malaysians in Singapore.

KESUMA also expressed its appreciation to Malaysians in Singapore for their achievements, contributions and continued commitment in bringing recognition to the country.
Through the MyHeart Global Connect initiative, KESUMA said connections with the Malaysian diaspora worldwide would continue to be strengthened to create opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing and contributions towards national development, regardless of where Malaysians are based.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Sumber Manusia, the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining strong ties with Malaysians abroad and recognising their role as part of the wider Malaysian community. – The Capital Post
