KKM Plans Villa Senna Acquisition for HTF Quarters

KANGAR, 23 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Health (KKM) is exploring the proposed acquisition of an apartment building at Villa Senna, Kangar, to provide additional quarters for medical officers serving at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah (HTF), Perlis.

KKM Secretary-General Datuk Seri Hj. Hasnol Zam Zam bin Hj. Ahmad conducted an official working visit to Pangsapuri Villa Senna to review the proposed acquisition of the six-storey building.

The apartment comprises 34 residential units, including 29 three-bedroom units and five one-bedroom units. The acquisition is expected to provide additional accommodation facilities for HTF staff while improving the comfort and welfare of healthcare workers serving at the hospital.

The initiative is aimed at supporting the needs of medical officers, particularly those undergoing housemanship training, by providing suitable accommodation close to their workplace.

Also present during the visit were Senior Undersecretary of KKM’s Development Division Datin Paduka Roslinah binti Md Jani, Perlis State Health Director Dr. Ghazali bin Chik, Hospital Tuanku Fauziah Director Dr. Hj. Amin Sah bin Hj. Ahmad, Bumita Properties Sdn. Bhd. Managing Director Dato’ Johari bin Mohd Darus and Bumita Properties Sdn. Bhd. Director Dato’ Lee Mo Toi.
