KUALA LUMPUR, 13 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Works (KKR) held a session led by its Secretary-General, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Azman Ibrahim, with newly appointed Administrative and Diplomatic Officers (PTDs) at Bilik Seroja, Kompleks Kerja Raya, here.
The session served as a strategic platform to outline the ministry’s organisational direction, strengthen human capital and reinforce the commitment of civil servants towards supporting the country’s infrastructure development agenda.
In his address, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Azman Ibrahim stressed the important role of PTDs as credible policy drivers in managing the construction and maintenance of public assets.
He also emphasised the importance of integrity, professionalism and the application of Malaysia MADANI values, while urging the new officers to continuously innovate and develop their digital capabilities in line with developments in the modern construction sector.

KKR said it was confident that the new intake of talent and expertise would contribute significant value towards improving organisational efficiency.
The involvement of the newly appointed PTDs is also expected to further strengthen the ministry’s commitment under the leadership of the Secretary-General in delivering high-quality infrastructure for the wellbeing of the people and the country’s economic prosperity.
