KUALA LUMPUR, 13 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – YB Datuk Jonathan Yasin, Member of Parliament for Ranau, today chaired the 15th meeting of the 15th Parliament Security Select Committee at the Malaysian Parliament.
The meeting was attended by YBhg. Datuk Haji Makhzan bin Mahyuddin, Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Control) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN); YBhg. Dato’ Ruslin bin Jusoh, Director-General of the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK); YDH. CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Shuhaily bin Mohd Zain, Director-General of the Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS); and YBhg. Datuk Zulkifli bin Abidin, Secretary of the Security and Public Order Division (K) of KDN.
Also present were YBrs. Puan Siti Salmiah binti Haji Dimyati, Secretary of the Strategic Planning Division of KDN; YDH ACP Haji Ahmad Azwan bin Haji Amin Nordin of the Criminal Investigation Department (Narcotics), Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM); and YBrs. Tuan Mohd Russaini bin Idrus, Director of the Security and Passport Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM).

The meeting discussed matters related to national security, while also focusing on strengthening cooperation and coordination among the relevant ministries, departments and agencies.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN), the meeting was held to address national security matters and strengthen inter-agency coordination. – The Capital Post
