KPM Recognised in Cashless Boleh 5.0 Campaign

PUTRAJAYA, 31 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Education (KPM) has been recognised as one of the winners of the Cashless Boleh 5.0 campaign for its outstanding achievement in promoting cashless transactions across the public sector.

The recognition was presented during a courtesy visit by the Ministry of Finance (MoF), through its Strategic and Corporate Financial Control Division (BKSK), to KPM Secretary-General Dato’ Wan Hashim Wan Rahim.

KPM received the award under the Federal Government <50K Transaction category after recording a cashless transaction rate of more than 95 per cent, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to advancing the government’s digitalisation agenda.

MoF said the achievement demonstrates the effectiveness of public service delivery, supported by strong public participation in adopting faster, safer and more transparent digital payment methods.

The award was presented by BKSK Secretary Tuan Haji Ghazali Hizam to Dato’ Wan Hashim as KPM’s official representative.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kewangan, the recognition highlights continued efforts to accelerate digital transformation and expand the adoption of cashless payments across government agencies. – The Capital Post
