MELAKA 27 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Director-General of Education Malaysia, YBhg. Datuk Dr. Mohd Azam bin Ahmad, today attended the 2026 Kampung Angkat MADANI Programme held at Kampung Rim, Jasin, Melaka, as part of efforts to strengthen community development and enhance access to quality education.
Also present at the programme were Melaka State Executive Council Member for Investment, Industry and TVET Development, YB Datuk Khaidhirah binti Datuk Seri Abu Zahar; Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan Didik Negara (YDN), YBrs. Tuan Mohd Nasrul bin Khairi; and Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Division (BPLTV), En. Ts. Zulkernai bin Fauzi.
During the programme, YBhg. Datuk Dr. Mohd Azam presented tablet devices to outstanding students from the Rim State Legislative Assembly (DUN) area, sponsorships for Diploma in Nursing studies by Kings University College, Kuala Lumpur, as well as food assistance kits for the local community.

The initiatives reflect the Ministry of Education Malaysia’s (MOE) continuous commitment to expanding inclusive and equitable access to quality education, in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI and the objectives of the Malaysia Education Plan (RPM) 2026–2035.
Through the Kampung Angkat MADANI initiative, the government continues to strengthen collaboration between agencies, educational institutions and local communities to create a more empowered society and ensure sustainable development for the people. – The Capital Post
