KUALA PERLIS, 28 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Communications Minister Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil and Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah joined the MAIPs Peduli community programme aimed at supporting asnaf groups and strengthening community welfare in Perlis.
The programme, organised by Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis (MAIPs), was held at Kampung Warna Warni, Seberang Permai, Kuala Perlis, on 26 September.
Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail also participated in the programme.
MAIPs Peduli is a community service and welfare initiative focused on engaging directly with residents while providing assistance to eligible asnaf groups.

The programme is intended to ease the burden on recipients while supporting broader efforts to strengthen community wellbeing.
Also present were Perlis State Secretary Dato’ Noor Azman Abdul Rahman, Hospital Tuanku Fauziah General Department Chief Medical Officer Datuk Seri Dr. Paras Doshi and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Director Norrazlina Nordin.
