Kuala Lumpur, 28 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – “Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati” has been announced as the official theme for the 2026 National Day and Malaysia Day (HKHM) celebrations.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Komunikasi, Communications Minister and Chairman of the HKHM 2026 Main Committee, YB Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, unveiled the theme today.
The ministry said the theme reflects the government’s vision of building a progressive, inclusive and harmonious nation where every Malaysian can enjoy shared prosperity under the Malaysia MADANI framework.
The 2026 National Month celebrations will begin with the National Month Launch and Fly the Jalur Gemilang Ceremony on 18 July 2026 in Perak. This will be followed by the National Day celebration on 31 August 2026 in Putrajaya and the Malaysia Day celebration on 16 September 2026 in Sarawak.

Also present at the announcement were Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah, Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic Communications and Creative Industry) Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil, Senior Undersecretary (Management) Datuk Aminurrahim Mohamed, and Director-General of the Department of Information Malaysia, Erwin Khairul Ahmad.
