PUTRAJAYA, July 17, 2026 (The Capital Post) – Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, YB Dato’ Sri Arthur Joseph Kurup, presented letters of congratulations to officers who received acting appointments to Senior Grades under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), effective July 15, 2026.
The presentation took place during the ministry’s Post-Cabinet Meeting.
Among those recognised were Director-General of the Department of Minerals and Geoscience, YBhg. Datuk P.Geol. Zamri bin Ramli, who assumed Grade Utama A; Director-General of the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Radhi Chu Abdullah, who also assumed Grade Utama A; and Deputy Director-General (Policy and Planning) of the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Roslan Rani, who assumed Grade Utama B.

The acting appointments reflect the officers’ dedication, commitment and contributions throughout their service in strengthening the ministry and its agencies.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Kelestarian Alam (NRES), the appointments recognise the officers’ leadership and commitment, with the ministry expressing confidence that they will continue to drive excellence within their respective agencies.- The Capital Post
