Gua Musang, Kelantan, 24 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) outreach and cash disbursement programme for the Orang Asli community was held in Gua Musang today, aimed at ensuring direct delivery of financial assistance to eligible recipients.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kewangan, a total of 107 Orang Asli STR recipients received assistance amounting to RM57,400 at Dewan Bonda Yah, RPS Kuala Betis.
The programme is a joint initiative involving Kementerian Kewangan, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDN), and the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA). It is designed to ensure STR aid is delivered directly to the Orang Asli community in the Gua Musang district.
The cash disbursement programme also featured participation from SARA partner merchants under the Jualan Rahmah initiative, providing recipients with exposure and opportunities to purchase essential goods using their MyKad through the SARA system.

In addition, BSN Mobile Banking services were made available on-site, offering account services, cash transactions, digital banking support, as well as protection and welfare services to ease access for the Orang Asli community.
