Time, LGMS Join Forces to Strengthen Malaysia’s Cybersecurity Ecosystem

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – TT dotCom Sdn Bhd (Time), a wholly owned subsidiary of Time dotCom Berhad, and LGMS Berhad have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen Malaysia’s cybersecurity ecosystem through trusted digital infrastructure, local expertise and integrated security operations.

The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) during the National Cyber Security Summit (NCSS) 2026. The signing was witnessed by National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) Chief Executive Ir. Dr. Megat Zuhairy Megat Tajuddin and TT dotCom Executive Director Datuk Zainal Amanshah.

The partnership comes as organisations accelerate cloud adoption, artificial intelligence (AI) deployment and digital transformation, increasing the need for stronger cybersecurity capabilities amid evolving regulatory requirements, including the Cyber Security Act 2024.

Under the collaboration, Time will contribute its trusted digital infrastructure, secure connectivity, Managed Security Operations Centre (Managed SOC) services and network intelligence, while LGMS will provide expertise in cybersecurity advisory, governance, risk and compliance, security assessments, threat intelligence and incident response.

The two companies will jointly develop an integrated cybersecurity framework to help enterprises, public sector organisations and regulated industries strengthen cyber resilience, improve operational readiness and support secure digital transformation.

The collaboration will also focus on accelerating cybersecurity adoption, strengthening Malaysia’s digital sovereignty through locally hosted infrastructure and sovereign AI capabilities, developing cybersecurity talent, and driving innovation in AI-powered security technologies and threat intelligence.

Time Enterprise & Public Sector Chief Executive Officer Azhar Adnan said trusted digital infrastructure has become essential in enabling organisations to innovate securely while maintaining resilience and business continuity.

LGMS Founder and Managing Director Fong Choong Fook said organisations increasingly require integrated cybersecurity capabilities that combine advisory services, governance, continuous monitoring and incident response to address today’s evolving threat landscape.
