LUMUT, 19 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Final preparations are underway at the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) Lumut Naval Base in Perak for the Malaysian Armed Forces’ (ATM) 93rd Anniversary Carnival.
Preparations at the Western Fleet Command Headquarters are focused on ensuring the smooth running of activities and demonstrations planned for visitors.
The carnival will feature an ATM combat parade, special forces capability demonstrations, fighter aircraft displays and parachute jumps.
Visitors will also be able to watch a sail past by maritime assets and a flypast involving military aircraft.

Other attractions include visits to TLDM ships and exhibition areas, military working dog demonstrations, silent drill performances and a performance by the TLDM Central Band.
The carnival will give the public an opportunity to see ATM’s capabilities and operational readiness through exhibitions, demonstrations and direct interaction with defence personnel.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Defence Malaysia, the programme also aims to strengthen ties between the Malaysian Armed Forces and the public. – The Capital Post
