PUTRAJAYA, Monday 15 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – Minister of Economy Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir spent time engaging with winners of the Junior Innovathon Season One during a Meet & Greet session held at the Ministry of Economy on 11 June 2026.
According to information shared via the official Facebook page of Kementerian Ekonomi, the informal session provided a platform for the Junior Innovathon champions to share their innovation journeys, including the inspiration behind their projects as well as the challenges faced throughout the development process.
During the open dialogue session, the Minister expressed appreciation for the creativity and courage demonstrated by the participants in developing new ideas and sharing their experiences. He also emphasised the importance of creative thinking and an innovation-driven culture in shaping a competitive future workforce.

The programme reflects the MADANI Government’s commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem from the grassroots level by encouraging students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), in line with efforts to develop future talent that will drive the nation’s economic growth.
