Fuel Prices Rise by 20 Sen for 30 July–5 August

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Retail prices for unsubsidised petrol and diesel will increase by 20 sen per litre for the period from 30 July to 5 August 2026, according to the latest fuel price adjustment announced.

The retail price for RON97 petrol will rise to RM4.40 per litre, while unsubsidised RON95 petrol will increase to RM3.82 per litre.

Meanwhile, subsidised RON95 under BUDI95 remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre, while subsidised petrol under SKPS remains at RM2.05 per litre.

For diesel, the retail price will increase to RM4.62 per litre, while subsidised diesel prices remain unchanged, with SKDS diesel at RM2.15 per litre and BUDI Diesel at RM2.10 per litre.

The Ministry of Finance stated that the MADANI Government will continue adopting a prudent approach to protect the people from price fluctuations while ensuring sufficient and secure fuel supplies nationwide.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kewangan, the fuel price adjustment reflects the government’s continued efforts to balance market conditions with measures to safeguard consumers. – The Capital Post
