KUALA LUMPUR, 26 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The 2026 Horizon Baharu Kumpulan Inovatif dan Kreatif (HBKIK) competition at the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) Malaysia is providing a platform for its personnel to showcase ideas, creativity and innovative solutions to improve public service delivery.
The biennial competition, held from 26 to 28 August 2026 at the Rafflesia Meeting Room, JPS Malaysia, was officially opened by JPS Malaysia Director-General YBhg. Datuk Ir. Mohamad Radzi bin Abdul Talib.
A total of 37 groups from various divisions and state JPS offices nationwide are participating in this year’s competition, presenting innovative products and solutions aimed at simplifying work processes while improving productivity and efficiency.
Each participating group will present its innovation for assessment based on creativity, effectiveness, impact, as well as its potential for implementation and further development.

The competition also aims to encourage JPS personnel to develop practical innovations that can strengthen the quality and efficiency of services delivered to the public.
