KUALA LUMPUR, 16 June 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Health (MOH), together with the Ministry of Communications, has officially launched the National Health Digital Ecosystem and Connectivity Driver (PERSADA) at the MOH Headquarters today.
The initiative was officiated by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad and Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
According to a Facebook post by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM), PERSADA aims to strengthen the delivery of public healthcare services through more efficient, secure and integrated digital technology.
The programme will be implemented in phases until 2028, covering 150 government hospitals and 2,488 public healthcare facilities nationwide.
Among the key benefits of PERSADA are faster treatment processes, reduced patient waiting times, improved health information sharing and expanded access to more efficient and quality healthcare services.

A core component of the initiative is the Cloud-Based Clinical Management System (CCMS), which supports the “One Individual, One Record” aspiration by enabling secure and seamless access to patient information across healthcare facilities.
PERSADA also supports the development of telehealth services through the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI), improving healthcare access for rural and remote communities.
Also present were Health Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Hj. Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad, Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, Health Deputy Director-General (Public Health) Dr. Ismuni Bohari, and Digital Health Division Director Dr. Maheshwara Rao Appannan. – The Capital Post
