PDRM Fun Run 2026 Targets 15,000 Participants

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is targeting 15,000 participants for its PDRM Fun Run 2026, which will be held at Dataran Merdeka on 22 November in conjunction with the 219th Police Day celebration.

The event, organised through PDRM’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), will feature two running categories covering distances of five and 10 kilometres.

CID Director CP Datuk M. Kumar S. Muthuvelu launched the programme at Menara 1, Bukit Aman Police Headquarters, on Friday (18 September).

Open to Malaysians, the event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle while providing an opportunity for the public to interact with police officers and personnel.

Besides the run, participants and visitors can expect agency asset exhibitions, sales booths, aerobics and entertainment performances.

A lucky draw featuring 219 prizes will also be held as part of the programme.

Registration for the PDRM Fun Run 2026 is available online through the HeyJom platform.
